Had the most stressful piano lesson today. Teacher drilled on my worst section - scales. Said that my basic foundation is not there. =( Yup... So gotta practise from the very basic C MAJOR till I get my fingering right. =(

Exam is around 10 weeks away, which means 10 lessons away. Gotta maximize the quality of each lesson from now on... I.e gotta prepare well before each lesson.

Teacher has been giving me 10 extra minutes for almost every lesson. I really mustn't let her down.

(And Little Giant! Teacher mentioned about your sis. She passed Grade 8! Hehe.)

Thank God for good music teachers... Cello teacher is patient and encouraging. Piano teacher is not exactly patient and encouraging but she gives very constructive comments and pushes me a lot (i.e pressurizes me). Maybe cos she's a mum hehe.

A good teacher makes you love what you are doing, which in turn instills in you self-discipline and self-motivation (JJC motto: SDSM) to want to improve. Hope so. =P

Do what you love and love what you do.
